Mexico City's Estadio Azteca — the only stadium to have hosted matches at three World Cups — stages the opening game on 11 June 2026. At over 2,200 metres of altitude, it's one of the most atmospheric and demanding venues in world football.
MetLife Stadium, in the New York/New Jersey area, hosts the final on 19 July 2026. One of the largest venues in the tournament, it caps a knockout run that also features marquee stadiums like SoFi in Los Angeles, AT&T in Dallas and Mercedes-Benz in Atlanta.
With venues stretching from Vancouver to Mexico City, conditions vary enormously. Northern and coastal cities like Seattle, Toronto and the San Francisco Bay Area offer milder summer weather, while southern venues such as Houston, Dallas and Monterrey can be intensely hot — a factor that may shape kick-off times and playing styles.
