Terms of Use

The service

Goalasso offers free football games and articles. You can play without an account. There are no paid features. We may add, change or retire games and features at any time.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use Goalasso. If you are under 18, make sure a parent or guardian agrees to these terms.

Your account

• Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at info@goalasso.io if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
• Your username (or, if you haven't chosen one, your first name) and your profile picture appear publicly on the leaderboards, so choose them with that in mind.
• You can stop using Goalasso at any time and delete your account, as explained in our privacy policy.

What you add

The only things you can add are your name and username, your profile photo (uploaded or linked from another site), the name of the player you create in Box to Box and, for World Cup prediction leagues, a league's name, description and image. You keep your rights in them and allow us to display them in the service. Don't add anything offensive, misleading or that you don't have the right to use; we may remove it.

Fair play and acceptable use

• Play fairly: no cheats, exploits, bots or scripts, and no tampering with scores or leaderboards.
• Don't harass other players, impersonate anyone, break the law, or try to disrupt or break into the service.
• Don't copy our content or data at scale, for example with automated scraping.

If you break these rules, we may reset your scores, remove what you added, or suspend or delete your account.

Our content and football data

• The games, articles, design and code of Goalasso belong to Goalasso.
• Player and club information comes from sources including Wikidata and Transfermarkt data. Club, competition and player names and marks belong to their owners. Goalasso is not affiliated with any club, league, federation or player.
• We work to keep the games accurate, but questions and answers can contain mistakes. Our editorial policy explains how to report one.

Advertising

Goalasso is funded by advertising: the iOS app shows Google AdMob ads and the website may show Google AdSense ads. We don't endorse the products advertised. How advertising uses data is explained in our privacy policy.

Availability and liability

The service is free and provided as it is. We don't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Goalasso is not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. If you use Goalasso as a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may also bring a claim before its courts. If you have a problem, please write to info@goalasso.io first so we can try to sort it out.
